Hi Charles,
I believe my George Bougher b. 1819-1822 IN was the son of John Bougher and Sarah Sapenfield. However, I have not been able to prove it. His sibling, Sarah Ann Bougher married in Monroe Co. IA to Peter Cain, and George married in IA, also for ? time, to Mrs. Martha Jane Sparks (Rogers). According to what I have found thus far, the name was spelled Bougher and many other ways; however, I have not at this point encounter Boughner. They were German. George Bougher lst married Susannah ?, had Alexander William Bougher who married Permelia Elizabeth Collins, d/o Robert E. Collins and Louisa Adelide Amber, and had my great gmother, Julia Ann Bougher in IA, and her siblings, Mary, William, Martha and Charles Perry Bougher. William's siblings were Mary E., Nancy, Lydia, and Charles that I know of, so far. George's siblings were Sarah, Mary,Abigail, Margaret,John, David, Franey, catharine and Adam.
