Sandy, Do you have any more information on the John Bougher mentioned? I just recieved the following information I was wondering if there was a connection. My 2nd great grandmother Melissa "Lizzie" Jane Boughers m. Robert Lee Gray 3Oct1892 in Marion Co. IL. Her parents are John Boughers and Pauline Perry. My Uncle tells me that at one time this family was in Fayette Co,IL. Any connections?
Also curious about the spelling/pronunciation of this name. This family spells it with an S at the end. The way it is pronounced I was initially spelling it Bowers. Thanks Ron Hanks
