I have just concluded my fourth trip to Niagara County, NY and the Niagara Peninsula, Onatario. I have the documentation that
John H. Bouey was married to Catherine Osterhout by J. Harris, JP in 1843 in Lewiston, NY. They lived in Lincoln Co. Ontario from at least 1848 through 1851. They had the four children Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Henry. Shortly after Henry was born, Catherine must have died. John H. Bouey married a second time to SARAH Scott. They had four children, Jerome,
George, John W. and Etta and quite probably another daughter who married a man named Davis. This second family came to the United States along with daughter Sarah and Henry. John H. Bouey was naturalized in October 1892.
I also now have the documentation of the three daughters, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary, marring Henry, Andrew and Jacob Putman.
