Hi Frank,
My Dewey Boudreaux had a brother named Willie.
Unfortunately, I don't have any details on him, but Dewey was born 1901, and died 1960, and is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Rayne, LA.
Dewey had a sister who was born 18 years after he was, suggesting multiple marriages.
Your William/Willie b in 1883 made him 18 years older than my Dewey, but not impossible for them to be brothers.
Do you know any of your William's siblings names?
I am told Dewey's father died abt 1930 in LA.
Let me know if this seems like a possible connection.
