Lee,
According tot he latest of Stephen White's books (and this will probably appear as well in the next installments of his Dictionary) Histoire de la Famille de Michel Boudrot, 1641 à 1780, p. 159:
The parents of your Jean Boudrot/Boudreaux are unknown. He was not the son of the couple you have, and certainly not a son of Michel and Anne Landry whose family all settled in the Maritime Provinces of Canada. He married Marguerite Guilbeau d/o Joseph & Madeleine Michel circa 1762. Jean died before 1768, at which time Marguerite remarried Simon-Joseph LeBlanc, the widower of Catherine Thibodeau. Jean & Marguerite had one son, Jean-Charles married to Dorothee Comeau, d/o Charles & Anastasie Savoie.
Sorry about that, but no records have surfaced to positively identify your ancestor Jean as a son of any of the identified Boudreaus in Acadia, (although he must surely have come from this family), at least not yet, anyway. Regards, Dennis Boudreau
