You are new to this, aren't you? Stephen White is the world's foremost expert on Acadian genealogy and works in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Your family's ancestor was exiled from Acadia to the prisons in England, where Acadians were held captive until they were repatriated to France. I'll check and see what I have to continue the line, but if you're in a "rush", check at Rootsweb world search. I can't guarantee that the conclusions on any web site will be correct, however, so take your chances.
