Do you have any other lineage on Frederic?? like his gg grandfathers name? or farther back? this lineage sounds familiar and i was looking into it and i can't seem to find any direct link but i know i do have many connection to fougere's and it is a distinct possibity that we have the same roots.

I am from Cape Breton and i have qute a bit of research done. please let me know if u can add anything to your discrpition of Frederic .
