Troy I found some info. which may or may not be of help to you, Some of the info. contradicts what you have, but I thought it worth mentioning. Andre (Andrew) Baudreau dit Graveline is listed at the LDS site as having a child named Noble Baudreau, who was christened on May 29,1840 in St-Jean baptiste, Rouville, Quebec. Andre was married to Ursule Benoit. Andre & Ursule also have a familytree listing with familytreemaker which lists their children as: Rosalie, Loe, Marguerite, Ursule, Marie Euphrosine, Emmanuel, Appolline, Marie, Ubalde, & Melina. Ubalde was born on June 3,1839, followed by Melina in 1841. There is no mention of Noble. There are also listings at the LDS for the following children all born to a Joseph Gravelin & Christina? in Oakland, Michigan. Noble Gravelin b. 1861 Mary Gravelin b. 1859 Frank Gravelin b. 1869 Joseph Gravelin b. 1857. I have been doing research on the net for over a year & have found the following to be true. 1) The LDS can have incorrect dates. 2) Many French Canadians are christened Joseph or Marie, but use their middle names on an everyday bases to avoid confusion. 3) In the past, children were often baptised at a much later date due to the unavailibility of a Priest at their date of birth. I hope some bit of this info. will be of use to you. If you would like more info. on Andre (Andrew) I know where to find a listing of his ancestors. If I had to make a guess, I would suggest that Ubalde & Noble are the same person & that Noble also went by the name Joseph. I can't find anything on a chatchet (possibly a knickname or misspelling) I could be completely wrong about this, but thought I'd let you decide if any of this is worth checking out. Brenda
