I am going insane - can anyone help?? I have located my grandfather on 1920 Census as Armidas b. 1886/7 Chittenten, VT (county). Then 1930 Census as Armida (sp error?). Wife Evelina. He was 43 & she 39. My father was youngest child at the time (out of nine) and several other siblings were born in MA. My father Robert was born in 1928 in Webster, MA. They lived on a farm my father thought in Fletcher, VT that burnt (neighbors were Herbert Carpenter & Tina/Allan Calvin) and then moved to Cambridge Village (1930 census verified). Armidas died 1930/31 buried in Cambridge cemertery on hill - no record on-line. Says Armidas was born in Canada but I have searched everywhere & name does not come up?? My father has given me info. he believes is right - Armidas had brothers - Edlar who lived in Swanson, Joe who lived in Highgate and he was chief of police in either Highgate or Swanson, and Ovaly who lived in Montpelier & was a bulldozer operator - died in accident on bulldozer. Joe had a daughter Genovie who sang country western music on radio. Mother (Evelina) moved around a lot different states after husband died had only youngest son with her Paul (Richard) Boudreau. Oldest son was Arthur that was in CCC in Vermont. For a time Robert & Paul lived with him. Other siblings of my father: Elenor, Mae, Rudolph, Albert, Edward, Rose. Evelina died in 2/2/1962 buried in Brattleboro, VT under the name Evelina T. Boudreau. Two different accounts of her maiden name one Trombly & other Torrangeau (maybe she was married before to a Torrangeau?). She married Armidas when she was 18 yrs. old. States she was born in MA but parents were from Canada. Says she was born 3/29/1889.
Oh also Arthur drove a truck with lime that was a program sponsored by government (st or fed?) around 1930 or so delivered to farmers in that area. My father Robert Boudreau was left at a farm in Cambridge at the age of 8 yrs. old - Burns farm on Cady Hill and he lived there until the age of 17 yrs. when he enlisted in the Navy.
Can anyone help me???
