Charles Boudreau's parents: A Correction

Hi Dave,

I was just reminded by Ann Taft who also descends from Charles & Madeleine Clouatre that I made an error in your ascending lineage (glad someone was paying attention). Francois and Marguerite Pitre are NOT the parents of Charles. Here's what I reported in another post somewhere else on this forum:

According to Steve White's Histoire de la Famille de Michel Boudrot, pp 129-131, Charles Boudreau's (4) parents were NOT François and Marguerite Pitre, as previously supposed (and as I reported unfortunately). This has been disproven! His parents were: Claude Boudrot (3) s/o Claude & Anne-Marie Thibodeau (your 2nd generation) and his wife, Catherine Hébert d/o Jean & Marie-Anne Doucet, who were married at Grand-Pré in 1706. Claude, husband of Catherine Hébert, was son of Michel & Michelle Aucoin.

Please make this correction to the lineage I gave earlier, and thanks, Ann, for the reminder. The Clouatre side is correct, parent-wise: Pierre & Marguerite LeBlanc. Sorry for the inconvenience. I must have been asleep at the wheel.

Dennis Boudreau
