In the 1881 census of this family, there is a daughter Lena, 1 month old (born Apr/May 1881). Your ancestor Lena, born ca 1893 may have been a second child of this name, the first one here recorded may have died as an infant. This was a common practice in Canada to name subsequent children the same names as those who unfortunately did not survive to adulthood. Don't count this out as it may be the truth of what happened in her family. Dennis
