Carol,

Well, I know one thing: Jane was a Poirier!

If you go to Rootsweb.com and click on the Family Trees button in the top menu, and enter in Morvan & Pascal, you'll get the entire Morvan lineage from L'Ardoise, NS (by clicking on the father's names until you can't go any further). Then hit Register and it will all appear, down to Leda and her siblings.

For the Boudreaus: I did pretty much the same thing, but got two different lineages for Johns married to Janes, neither of which I am happy with because they are NOT proven, and I believe someone guessed or changed something to make them fit.

John BOUDROT of Isle Madame (Arichat, NS) region married Jane POIRIER. I thought I had a marriage record for them but don't. The closest these two databases have come is Jean Boudreau married to Eleonore Poirier in 1850 in Arichat, NS. Am not sure if Eleonore is your Jane or not, as Leda is not among the line-up of children found born there. A second lineage from D'Escousse, NS mixes up Jean/John Boudreau with Jane Langlois' (calling her Poirier) kids, which is where I think I got confused as well. No Leda in that family either.

I do know that Jean/John Boudrot & Jane Poirier are from that region but would be happier discussing it with Stephen White whose expertise is the families of the Isle Madame region, before I comment further. So if you'll give me some time, I will write to him and post or send an answer to you as soon as I hear back from him. At least you'll have the correct info as Arichat and environs just isn't a familiar place to me and I need an expert's opinion to guide me through it all, since the names are all so similar.

I did find a couple more of Leda's siblings married in Douglas, MA, especially James (Leda's brother) married to Severine Baillargeon. Will send you all this info later. Wish me luck, Dennis
