Boudreau Family Genealogy Forum

Many, many members of the Acadian Boudreau family from Nova Scotia resettled in Quebec AFTER THE DEPORTATION YEARS in New England. Branches of them in Quebec Province can be found resettled at Bonaventure County (Gaspé), Magdalen Islands, Baie St-Paul/Chicoutimi, Nicolet/Trois-Rivières/ Bécancour, Deschambault (where we think Lou's family was from), L'Acadie/St-Jean in the Richelieu Valley, Sorel/St-Ours/St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, and even down to parts of Montréal.
Many Boudreaus still live today in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, but not all of them do! They are however all branches of the same Acadian family.
In Quebec, they are often mixed up with the Beaudreau dit Graveline family who for the most part, all later went by the surname Boudreau.
The Queec Boudreaus and Beaudreaus are the ancstors of ALL the Midwest US Boudreau families. Dennis
