I googled Lou Boudreau some time ago when I just heard of Acadian (from my time in Louisiana where my name was common) and was trying to find out if I'm Acadian. I didn't find anything referring to him as being Acadian. Dennis assured me I was as my great-grandparents (Boudreau) were from Novia Scotia. If his linage is from Quebec, would that mean he was not Acadian, or are all Boudreaus Acadian? Growing up in N.Y. he was the only other Boudreau I ever heard of other than my family.
