Jean Paul, So am I a descendant of Abraham. The official word from Stephen A. White (Acadian expert genealogist in Moncton) as to Michel's death is this: According to the Declarations of his descendants, made at Belle-Ile-en-Mer, Fr., in the 1760s, Michel died between 20 Aug 1688 (date when he was relieved of his duties as magistrate of Port-Royal by Mathieu de Goutin by Royal decree on 31 Mar 1687) and the Census of 1693 (when he does not appear in the census). His widow, Michelle Aucoin is found living with her youngest son, François and his family in this census. [Ref. Stephen A. White, Histoire de la Famille de Michel Boudrot, 1641 à 1780. Dieppe, NB, 2004, pp 1-2]. That's as close as it gets since no record of his actual death has survived. That's a span of six years but at least it narrows down the time window for researchers which can be documented by facts. Best regards, Dennis Boudreau Notify Administrator about this message?
