I thank you for your help. Who knows how long it would take to get this right. I recognize the information, but have not had time to collate it all into a form that produces a RECOGNIZABLE pattern. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH. This is making me crazy. HOWEVER, it seems that now I can ignore the entire Lejeune, "Prince Of Savoy" drama, which I didn't believe anyway.
I found Scavois in both L'Acadie and the Poitou area, in case anyone here is still stuck in that quagmire. Why go flouncing off to Savoy, when the real family is to be found right there in the Poitou area? This info I posted on all 3 of those forums.
