We would like to find descendants of Alphonse (b. 1825) and Celestin Boudreau (b. abt. 1827), in Canada. Alphonse Boudreau married Cecile Allain in 1851, in Will County, Illinois and they had four children: Adeline, Charles Celestin and Angeline, all born in St. Anne, Kankakee County, Illinois. Alphnse's wife's family owned the land that the present day St. Anne, Illinois stands on. Her father was Michael Allain and her brothers were Ambrose and Antoine Allain.
Celestin Boudreau married Sophie Deslauries dit Legault, b. about 1827; her second marriage and her first marriage was to Alfred Legris about 1856.
I have the following information on on the Boudreau and other lines link to the Boudreau line:
Celestin BOURDREAU to Sophia DELORRIS on 8/31/1860 in KANKAKEE County.
Note: This 1860 census for Alphonse Boudreau and his family, also lists his brother Celestin:
1860 census. Page 24, Beaverville, Iroquois county. I think
that I found the A Boudreau Age 34 With wife Celcile age 33. children are Adeline, age 7, Celestin, age 4, and Celestin, age 33.
On the next page, 3 houses away is Ant. Legris, age 56 with wife Marie, 31, dau Aglai?, age 8, Esilda, age 7, Marie, age 5, and Sophie Legris, age 33. with children, Theophile, age 11, Napoleon, age 8, Hermine, age 1 and
Pamela, age 2/12.

Celestin Boudreau's brother was Alphonse Boudreau b. 1825 and he was married to Cecile Allain of St. Anne, Kankakee County, Illinois. They had four children, only only three reached adulthood. Adeline, Charles Celestin and Angeline, all born in St. Anne. They left Illinois in 1868 and settled in Dakota County, Nebraska.
We hope to find new cousins that can help us find the history of our ancestors. I have more information on Alphonse Boudreau and his family that I would love to share and also the Allain line, also.
