Ken,

I was going over the genforum site again, to see if there were any untied messages left hanging, and I found yours, which unfortunately went unanswered. Sorry!

No parents' names have been found for Michelle or her sister Jeanne Aucoin to date. Unless research is done is France to find baptismal records for them, we may never know. Michelle may have married Michel Boudrot in Port-Royal, Acadia rather than in France, as he was living here two years prior to their marriage, and it is unlikely that he returned to France to marry. If that be the case, these earliest of registers are forever lost thanks to the Acadian Deportation by the British in 1755! Sorry, but all our Boudreau lines end with Michel and Michelle, and until someone in Europe makes a major break through, that's where the lineage stops. Happy New Year! Dennis
