Hi,

When I ask what county in Quebec, that's what I was looking for...I have learned via my Quebec road map that the town is also known as Pointe-de-la-Croix (Bonaventure) Cty, and thus you descend from the Gaspe/ Carleton, QC. Boudreau's I do not have much information on YOUR family, except what can be found in Father Patrice Gallant's Registres de la Gaspesie, published by the Societe-Genealogique Canadienne-Francaise; and Bona Arsenault's Registers of Carleton, Quebec. I believe you already have your direct lineage back to our ancestors, Michel and Michelle. There really is nothing more I can offer you. I thought you were stuck on your lineage. By the way, here's where to order Stephen White's book: http://www.umoncton.ca/etudeacadiennes/centre/pub-vend.html

I am from Rhode Island, and my family comes from the Magdalen Islands, Quebec, very, very, very distantly related to yours. Dennis
