Boudreau Family Genealogy Forum

Quin,
Before I agree with you that Boodrey is an Anglicization for Boudreau, I need to know more about the people involved: names, location, etc. "Boodro" or "Budrow" would seem a more appropriate Anglicization of our surname rather than what you suggest. Though it is possible!
As for Petit-Rocher, NB; best of luck... there are so many people who descend from there on these genforums and few sources available to work with, except for the census records, and some existing parish registers. A lot of info is missing from the latter records and I can tell you now, thanks to the Irish priests who failed to give complete information... you may have a difficult search ahead of you to fill in the gaps. BTW, my paternal grandmother is also a Doucet, from Magdalen Islands, but her grandfather & his family was originally from Wedgeport, NS. Keep me informed as to your progress. Regards, Dennis
