Hi Jacquie. Seems we are finding more questions than answers.

No. I have not come across another Alfred. But, of course, with the use of middle names and nick names it gets tricky to sort all the siblings out. You are correct about families sometimes using the same name for a child who has died earlier. I saw that happen with Alphonse's children.

I wish I had some specific info. on your Alice, but I don't have anything so far.
