Hi Jacquie. I'm delighted to hear from you. Yes, my gg grandfather Alphonse Boucher/Bouchey had a younger brother named Alfred (Fred). Their parents were Jacques (Jacob) Boucher m. to Alphonsine Beaubien. I've been working on this large family for awhile. I have 16 siblings so far, and there may have been as many as 22, some who died as infants. The family moved from Illinois to Cloud County, KS. c. 1875. Some of the siblings later moved to Wabaunsee County Kansas, near Maple Hill, KS c. 1890's. I believe Alphonse and Alfred lived very near each other in Maple Hill. I see you are especially interested in Alfred's daughter, Alice Bouchey. I don't have specifics on her, but a little on her brother Oscar.

I do have a note that Oscar Bouchey (age 11) and Pearl Bouchey/Greer (age 6 - Eva's child) attended school in 1896 in Maple Hill, KS. area.

I believe this is info on Alfred's baptism in Illinois:

Glad to compare more info. if you are interested.
