Hi. I'm looking for info on Francois (Franco)BOUCHER married to Josette (Josephte) INDIAN. Both born around 1765-1780. Franco is listed as French Canadian. Only children that I can find are:
1) Eliza BOUCHER b. 1800 Fort Laird (Northwest Terrritory)[also 1785 fort alexander] married to Thomas FIRTH.
2) Lisette BOUCHER [married to Baptiste CHARBONNEAU (French Canadian)].
I'm having a hard time finding out where Francois was from. I have notes from http://www.kamouraska.cagenealogy/gen that mentions a Francois BOUCHER b. about 1776
father: Francois BOUCHER b. 8 Sept. 1740 Kam., Que.
and the name Marie Josephte ROULEAU b. abt. 1756.
Does anyone know if this is the same Francois that I am looking for? It seems to fit but there are so many that I am not sure. I believe that it was Quebec but who were his parents etc? Does anyone know anything about Josette? Thanks for any info.
