Ann,William Bushaw/Bouchard b. 1863 in NY moved to Southridge and was in the 1900 census.I believe he had relatives there. The Bouchard line I am working on the Julius Bouchard married to marie Houle, 1825 in L'acadie near Montreal. They had a son Jean Baptist b. 7 Sept 1834 in Iberville at St. Anthanse.I believe around 1850-1860 he moved down into New England to work in the Mills. I found a George Bushaw who was from Lowell and was in the Civil War.My Bouchard researches in Quebec tell me that Bushaw is the Americanized name for Bouchard.I also have Beaudreau in my line, coming from Point au Trembles, near Montreal area.Marie Reine b. abt 1744 married Joseph Marie Fontaine abt 1763.Her father was Pierre Beaudreau dit LaBonte. Is this your line? Also, have you seen the Bushaw name in your researching of Bouchard's in New England?Any help is appreciated.Gary, Canton, NY
