This is my husband's family. Claude married Louise Gasnier May 25, 1654 in Quebec. Claude was christened in 1626 in France. He was a tailor from Sarthe, Saint Come-de-Vair, au Perche and this place was administered by a Comte by "le Maine". His parents were Jacques Bouchard and Noelle (Touchard) Bouchard. Claude was the first to come to Canada. I have a large paper on him and would have to be mail to you. The article is in french.
