I am sorry but I was grasping at straws! I was hoping that Claude was a son of my grandfather - Joseph Henri Bouchard whom I have been trying to track down. His son, My father was born too on 30th July 1944 (co-incidence eh?) in England during the war. Joseph Henri was in the airforce and came from a small town Rimouskville (or similar) in Quebec. Joseph Henri was apparently already married before he went to war, so I do not know his wife's name! I expect other members of his family do not know of my father's existence, as illegitimacy was "frowned" upon.
Anyway good luck with your search - I think we both need it!
