Hi Brooke,

Hope you get a chance to see this post! I was scrolling down, giving up hope & here was the link I've been looking for in the family line (of sorts).

My Bouchard connection is through Antone/Ontime/Anthyme Bouchard--1837-1922(wife Genevieve--1844-1932). They are my great-great grandparents.

My local research shows they came to the Suamico and Flintville, WISC. area in 1854, at the same time as Alfred?, to farm.

Family story is that Antone came on some sort of barge down the Great Lakes to get to the area. Obituary from the local paper says Antone came from Froserville, Canada (probably meant Fraserville) and they may have started out there for Wisconsin.

I have speculated that Alfred may have been the elder of two brothers OR cousin to Antone. The Brown County Library in Green Bay lists in its death records catalog "Alfred Bouchard" as Antone's father (perhaps they meant brother???). So little has been confirmable to date!

If you have any information you'd be willing to share, I'd be very grateful! Thanks!
Julie
