Hi,Patricia,So far,you are correct about the ywo Thomas Botts.One was the son of the other.The younger Thomas was married to Elizabeth Kennon,whose family happened to be from Chesterfield County.I wasn't ever sure of Thomas'second wife,Ann.I descend from Seth Botts,a son and grandson of the two Thomas Botts.The first Thomas Botts was granted land from Lady Fairfax in Stafford County.I'm not sure of the exact date,but it was early 1700's.If you would like more info concerning these early Botts,let me know and I'll do some digging in my research and come up with more exact stuff.Respectfully,Anthony Lewis.
