I don't know if this will be any assistance to you but my GGGgrandfather, James Botts Wigginton, of Loudon County,VA received a land grant in MO in 1838. By 1839 he was in residence in Lewis Co., MO. Loudon County is just north of Prince William County. So, your Benjamin and my man got to Lewis County just about the same time.

When James Botts Wigginton died a John P. Botts was on the list of people who owed his estate money, in this case $6.75.

I know the Botts family my James Botts Wigginton came from and this is where I thought you might find some help.

Try to find a copy of Copies of Extant Wills From Counties Whose Records Have Been Destroyed By George Harrison Sanford King, Fredericksburg, VA. Will of Seth Botts of Stafford County, VA (Prince William County formed from Stafford.)

This can be found in Tyler's Quarterly Historical and Genealogical Magazine, Vol. XXXIII, Richmond Press Inc., Printers, Richmond, VA, 1952., pp 249-255.

Seth Botts had two daughters and two sons, William and Aaron. William married in Prince William Co. and later moved to Mason County, Ky. He had several children, including boys,Seth who moved to Fleming Co., KY and George W.(don't know where he went) Two daughters moved to Mason County, KY.

Aaron had three sons, Joseph, Joshua, and John. Joseph went to Montgomery County, KY and John went to Boone County, KY.

This may not be pertinent at all but it seemed like a possible place for you to look.
