The theory that Noel Bottoms relocated to Arkansas is a good one . My husbands great grandmother was Ella Bottoms Hoss, Her sisters that we know of are Mattie J, and Sarah. I found her father Rubin Bottoms(as the enumerator spelled it) on the 1870 census of Titus, Texas. His wife was Angeline b in Tennessee abt 1831. Sara the Eldest was born in Arkansas the younger two girls were born in Texas. Mattie J Bottoms Robison is buried in the Steep Hill Cemetery in Rye Hill Arkansas Ella is buried in Miami, Oklahoma. At some point after Jesse Hoss her husband died the family moved there and were involved in the mining in Picher Oklahoma. That is where she died. Her daughter Nora Mae Hoss Booker died in Franklin County Arkansas and is buried in the Nixon Cemetery. Her brother Charles William Hoss is buried in I believe it's Atoka Oklahoma. Both Nora and Charles were born in Indian Territory. Apparently the family moved a lot and from what I have seen, they went together many times.
