My side of the Bottoms family was in Marion county Ala. My grandfather was Jefferson Davis Bottoms. He had 13 children one of which was my father, Harvey W.Bottoms. Would love to hear of other family members whose family grew up or were rooted in that area. Would also like to know where they came from. Had always heard that they were from the Carolinas or Georgia but not sure. All older members are now deceased or senile. Have cousins but am not in contact with that side of the family.
