My grandmother, Arvie Zelia Bottoms (b:Oct 1897) was daughter of Robert E. Bottoms (b:Feb 1864). Robert E. was the son of Presley L. Bottoms (b:Feb 1836). Presley L was the third son born to Paskel H. Bottoms (1804-1910) and Margaret Keas. The children from this union in order of birth were: ?(female), Devan H.(1832), Granville, Presley L.(1836), Sterling S.(1838), Paskel A., Calvin, Harriett(1844), James K. Polk(1846), and William. All born in Wilson Co., TN then moved to Gibson Co., TN, after Civil War father and several of the children moved to Logan Co., AR, where Paskel H. died. Have not been able to determine who the father of Paskel H. was.
