John Bottom(s), Sterling H. Bottom(s) & Paschal H. Bottom(s)

I show that all three individuals were born in Virginia and moved to Rutherford/Wilson County Tennessee probably around 1820. The reason for the (s) is that I am not sure when it was added.
I can go back thru Paschal H. and believe his father to be John. In 1850 census Sterling had older man John living with him in Rutherford County. I have no other information about these two except for Sterling's wife's given name. Both Sterling and Paschal were born about 1805, John about 1775. I am trying to find a link to any individuals back to Virginia and hopefully be able to pick up my lineage from there.
