From the first names sounds like we might have some family ties. Have searched the LDS records, find lots of James Bottomley, but no daughters named Hannah. I want to go and look at the 1851 census and see if I can find them on that and get the mother's name and Hannah's siblings. Hannah was not with James on the 1891 census. It just listed James, his father, Edwin, his sons James Edwin and William. Assume she had died by then. Will keep plugging away on this line. There are so many Kershaws and Bottomleys in England. I even have a Bottomley on my mother's side from England. Have not even attempted that line yet. Keep in touch.
