William Roland & Emma Bottomley

I first appealed for help with this pair in 2005 but didn't get anywhere.
Emma now appears in the 1911 census as a 40-year-old widow, with one child born and one child still living. The child isn't with her, nor in any previous censuses, and it isn't with her mother either. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of possible Bottomley babies it could be, born in Halifax between 1889 when she was married and 1908/9 when she was widowed.
My only hope for finding the baby seems to be if s/he is in someone's family tree. Can anyone help?
Emma was illegitimate, born in Halifax around 1870. Her mother was Mary Ann Hutton born in Bristol; she married John Blakey in 1883 but was soon widowed and ended up as a Hawker & Licenced Pedlar. All really sad!
