Bottom in Kentucky

My ancestors are Mariah E. Bottom married to Samuel Bottom around 1826. They lived in that area of Kentucky where Boyle, Mercer, and Washington Counties adjoin and near the communities of Perryville, Mackville, Jenkinsville, and Dixville. I find many Bottom families in the area at that time, but it is not clear which Mariah and Samuel were from and whether they were related before marriage. I descend from their son Calvin Wallace Bottom, his daughter, Mary E. Bottom who married David Key, whose daughter Ella Kate Key married Alexander Wheat. This all took place within a short distance of Perryville, Boyle County, Kentucky. I would like to hear from someone who can clear up who the ancestors of Mariah or Samuel were as well as from any of their descendants. I will gladly share what I know about these folk and allied families.
