My Great Grandparents were John & Elizabeth Botterill who settled (prior to 1871) near Port Elgin and farmed inBruce Co., Saugeen Twp., Ontario. He was from England and she was Irish. They had 9 children and relatives still live in that area. Many members of this family ultimately moved to B.C., Alberta, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. My Grandmother Allie Mae Botterill (B.1883) moved to Manitoba as a teenager, married my Grandfather Clarence Smith and moved to Saskatchewan where they resided for the remainder of their lives. I have located Botterill familys in Saskatchewan that have extensive records of the Botterill Family in Canada and England that date back to 1066 A.D. These records were prepared by a Lawyer , Craig, R. G. Botterill.
I am very interested in locating Geneological records of this family. Please advise if you see a relationship to this family of Botterill's.
