From a letter written by Annie Sophronia Pierce, daughter of Huldah Botsford, I have the following: Timothy Botsford, son Isaac Botsford, 3 sons of Isaac were Timothy, Amadeus and Isaac (2). Timothy married Betsey ?. Amadeus, born August 1771, married Huldah Rice Merriman on February 15, 1801. He died in 1825. the locations were in the Stratford and Kensington, Connecticut area, then as noted. Their children were: Ira (Isaac) died at age 4, 1802-1806 Mary b. November 26,1803, died December 30, 1887 in Bristol (Connecticut) Levi b. August 24, 1806 died December 30, 1887 in Bristol daughter, b. March 24, 1807, lived 15 hours. Ezra b January 21, 1809, died April 24, 1904 Lucy b. October 3, 1811, died July 28, 1869 Amos b. January 20, 1814, died September 20, 1819 Seth b. March 25, 1816, died September 8, 1819 Anna b. October 23, 181, died June 12, 1828 Esther b. November 17, 1820, died January 10, 1899. Huldah b. November 5, 1822, died October 19, 1911. Huldah married Julius Pierce on May 30, 1849. Their daughter, Annie Sophronia Pierce married Frank Alton Haviland, and their son Calvin Pierce Haviland was my grandfather.
