Trying to find ancestors and any additional information on Clarissa Ann BOTSFORD, b. Abt 1832 in Cattaraugus Co., NY (per 1875 census for Mansfield, Catt. Co, NY, she was 43 and widowed, b. in Catt. Co., and living with her son Morgan Theron WHIPPLE; two younger siblings of his also lived in the household).
Clarissa m. David WHIPPLE -- they are my 3rd great grandparents. They had at least 3 children: Morgan Theron WHIPPLE, b. Apr 10, 1854, Mansfield, NY; Fred WHIPPLE, b. Abt 1859; and Lida, b. Abt 1861. Any others?
In the Cattaraugus Co. Historical Musuem, I *did* find a file for the BOTSFORD family. In that file was a handwritten list of the heirs of Lucius or Lucien BOTSFORD. It looks like he was the father of a Luzon BOTSFORD and Luzon was Clarissa's father. I have some additional information taken from that paper if anyone is interested (but, again, I may have read it incorrectly).
Any help on the family of Clarissa Ann and/or her marriage to David WHIPPLE is greatly appreciated (David d. 1871 in Mansfield, Cattaraugus Co., NY).
