Brewer of 207 Perhaps Samuel Watson Steuart was visiting Bothwell kin in Peoria, Knox or Fulton counties in Illinois. Alexander Bothwell II was in Knox County, Illinois by the late 1830's--after the August 17, 1838 birth of his ninth child (Leah). I can't say that I've looked for William there.
