Dennis,
I am related to George through his daughter Eliza Jane and her first husband Cheeseman Hill. George actually died in March 3rd 1874. I have a copy of a Notice of Appraisement for his estate. I did not copy his death certificate but it seems to me it listed his age as 93. So that would make his birth year 1781. Also in the 1830 census his age fall between 40 and 50. In the 1840 census his age falls between 50 and 60 which would put his birth year between 1780 and 1790. I hope this helps.
