Rebecca BUSWELL was born at probably Bosworth, Leicestershire, England, abt. 1593. She married Richard SMITH (c1589-c1669) from Stratford, Warwickshire, England. They may have met and married at Salisbury, Essex, MA. Eventually they lived at Wethersfield, Hartford, CT. I have seen six children listed: Richard Jr., Susannah, Mary, Joseph, Abigail, Jonathon. Rebecca's parents are said to be Roger BUSWELL of Bosworth, and wife Margaret. Roger is somewhere said to be son of John BUSWELL, born, say 1505, at Dixley Grange, Leicestershre, and died / buried May 19, 1574 at Clipston, Northamptonshire, England. Is this considered accurate? Do we know anything more about this English BUSWELL line?
