Thanks for this info. I'd say its probably safe to assume that the John and George you found are indeed brothers. From the records you sent it appears that they were living near to one another. I believe John and George moved with the rest of their family to Nelson County, KY sometime in the late 1780s. Because Shelby County was formed from part of Nelson County soon after 1792, and Spencer County was formed from Nelson, Shelby, and Bullitt Counties in 1824, their location in 1810 and 1820 may be close to (if not identical to) where they lived when they first entered the state.
