Thanks for replying. You and I are definitely within the same ball park as I've run across Josias Adams and Hezekiah Posey several times within my research. I too am related to the Posey's also.
As I'm sure you know, the late 1700s and early 1800s are the hardest period to research. They say not alot was well documented back then, plus what was burned in fires, etc.
I have been making a mental note to research Josias Adams more fully when I get the chance as he does come up quite often and for some reason he seems so interesting to me.
Let see what more I can gather on him and get back to you.
