Looking for identification of parents of James E Boswell, born in Maryland about 1815 and died 20 Jul 1870, I believe in D.C. He is buried with his wife in Baltimore. He was the Boswell of Boswell & Company, which made pianos, in the 1800's. His wife was Cassandra Bailey Boswell, DOB Feb. 1818, died 19 Jun 1909; her twin sister was Margaret Bailey, who married George Davis. I believe George Davis worked with James Boswell in the manufacture of pianos. Their son, George Boswell, was born in Caracas Venezuela while on a business trip to find wood for pianos. I have photographs of James Boswell, Cassandra Bailey, Margaret Bailey Davis and George Warfield Davis, Walter Davis as a child and a a brother of Margaret Bailey and Cassandra Bailey, who may or may not be named after his father, Captain Edwin Bailey of Baltimore, who was a rather locally famous ship captain and later, a maker and seller of ship parts. I have Captain Bailey's obituary. I want to find the Davis descendants to share the pictures with and I am dying to know my Boswell lineage past James E. Boswell.
Will share information and scanned pictures.
