I'm trying to locate the parents of Charles BOSWELL born ca. 1790 in NC or any other information about him or his family, especially before 1850. Charles married Nancy RICHARDSON in Halifax Co., NC in 1818 and they had at least 2 children: Elizabeth (born NC @1819) and Joseph (born NC @1821). I can only locate Charles and his family in NC in one Census -- the 1830 US Census for Halifax Co., NC. I find Charles and his family next in the 1850 US Census for Knox Co., KY. Charles and Nancy's daughter Elizabeth is unmarried in 1850 but their son Joseph was married to Martha RICHARDSON in Knox Co., KY in 1849. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
