Dear Lou:
I've been investigating the Fairfax, VA, Boswells, mainly looking into Peter Boswell, wife Ann Bayne Finley Boswell, both of whom died there 1806-7. They were married in Prince George's Co. 1783. Peter b. c. 1754, "of Prince George's Co., his father John Boswell, "planter of Charles Co., MD."
1810 VA census, Fairfax Co., Henry & Matthew Bozwell (sic). each 00101 00300.
Matthew Boswell, of course, being an old Charles Co. name.
I'd love to know where/when Peter Boswell died, and where his son, John (b. 1794 P.G) ended up (orphaned, apparently, by 1807).
