Looking for any info on John Boswell. John died in Baltimore in 1848. Wife Mary listed in Baltimore 1850 census living with daughter's husbands family. Wife Mary POB listed as MD, but both children, Elizabeth Ann (age 30) and William H. (age 23) listed POB of DC. John and Mary prob. married between 1810 and 1820, but can find no record in DC, MD or VA. John Boswell listed in MD 1840 Census and DC 1820 and 1830 Census living in Georgetown. 1834 Georgetown City Directory lists him as moulder. Likely born about 1797, maybe son of William Boswell listed in 1800 and 1810 DC Census? Also 1850 Census for Baltimore lists a Benjamin Boswell age 54, POB DC, living near deceased John's family. Benjamin's wife Mary, age 47 POB MD, and son William, age 32, POB 32.
Have tried to map John to Charles/PG Co. MD line but can find no map. Maybe related to Boswell line of Fairfax Co. Virginia area? Haven't been able to find much on this line.
