Richard,
If you do make it to the library this week (and yes, I was refering to the one on 42nd and 5th), you must try the Family Search computer terminal in the genealogy room (just ask the staff to set you up there). It uses CD-ROMs supplied by the Latter-Day Saints, and I found a lot of information on them about my ancestors. You might also look at "The Boswell-Buswell-Buzzell genealogist" (vol. 3, no. 1) by Laird C. Towle. Good luck.
