Howard,
You are correct, William and (Rhoda) Dollarhide were Henry's parents. I have a copy of Henry's Death Cert and it lists William Boswell (North Carolina) and (First Name Not Listed) Dollarhide (North Carolina) as parents.
Henry died 10 Mar1892 and was buried in the Whitewater Cemetery, Whitewater, Franklin Twp., Wayne Co., Indiana.
He married Keziah (Wolfe) on 13 April 1843 in Wayne Co., Indiana (I have a copy of the Marriage License). After Henry died Keziah married Elam White (16 Sep 1902). She died 11 Aug 1911 and is also buried in Whitewater. We have walked the cemetery twice and have not located any Boswell grave sites.
I appreciate the Cenus information I have a difficult time getting that data.
I believe that Barnabus Boswell was William's father but havenot been able to document that as yet. There is a William Boswell buried just outside of Middleboro (formerly Cox's Mill) in an old Methodist cemetery that may be the "right" William. Most of the Boswells that came to Wayne county lived in the area of Cox's Mill, Whitewater and Bethel and form there moved on to Iowa.
